Kathleen has spent over 30 years leading rural economic and community development on California’s North Coast. She currently leads Redwood Coast Rural Action and is recognized for building effective regional partnerships.

Candy retired from Bank of America as Senior Vice President of Public Policy after 20 years, where she led the bank’s environmental program and strategic sustainability initiatives. A former CPA, she now lives in Elk on the Mendocino Coast and remains active in her local community.

Mike is a former forest products finance executive with decades of experience in timberland lending. He previously worked at American AgCredit and Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and played a key role in structuring the long-term financing for RFF's acquisition of the Usal Redwood Forest. He has served on the RFF board since 2012.

Jeff is a faculty member at the University of California’s College of Natural Resources with a focus on forest policy and resource governance. He brings decades of experience in natural resource management and has strong ties to Mendocino County.

Jeff romm

Richard is a longtime forest and watershed restoration practitioner with decades of hands-on experience in Northern California. He has served on the RFF board since 2008, chaired the Restoration Committee, and continues to contribute to statewide salmon recovery efforts, including representing the Sierra Club on the California Coho Recovery Team.

Richard gienger

Robert is Executive Vice President Emeritus of SCS Global Services and a California Registered Professional Forester. He is a founding member of the Forest Stewardship Council and the Forest Stewards Guild, and has spent his career advancing market-based approaches to responsible forest management.
